Hi, I'm Tara! I'm a wedding and portrait photographer based in Paris, Texas. I love bright colors, a vintage, eclectic feel and whimsical ideas. My passions are weddings and child photography. My favorite color is green, my favorite movie is "The Man in the Moon," I'm NOT a morning person, I've been happily married for 6 years with a beautiful 1 year old little girl and I love to blog!!

Amelia is another one of my sweet “baby plan” babies… so be prepared to see lots more of her. :) This little girl was so curious and wanted to know everything that was going on. But once she finally tuckered out she was the PERFECT little model. This is one of my favorite newborn sessions ever. I was so excited to share these!! Check out little Amelia at 12 days old.

Amelia – 3 months » Tara Swain Photography Blog: [...] Miss Amelia is already 3 months old!! Where as time gone..? It feels like it was last month that I was loading up and heading to her home for her newborn session! Her legs are getting so long and she is already getting a little personality. She definitely knows what she likes and what she doesn’t like.. and she is not afraid to let you know! Can’t wait to see how much she has changed in January at her 6 month session! A couple of weeks ago I had a great session with baby Bryce when he was 12 days old. He was such a good baby but it took a while to get him to sleep. But once he went to sleep, he was OUT.

Kain was THE best newborn I have ever had. Better than Briley even! He was awake the ENTIRE session…. he never went to sleep, but he also never cried. He was perfect. ABSOLUTELY perfect. I’ve never had a newborn behave so well. He was a DREAM!!! We think he’s a natural born model.. were just starting him out early. You’ll be seeing plenty more of this gorgeous little boy on the blog. ;)

I LOOOOVE this.

His hair just naturally forms a mohawk. :) Garath doesn’t care for it too much though.

Garath only whined for about 30 seconds about putting on his gear. He was a trooper. ;) I love these SOO much. Let me tell you.. this is one PROUD PROUD daddy.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this image so much. Will be either a canvas or a huge print in my office.

Briley had fun too. She took a nap.. hung out in the stroller awhile and then sprawled out on a blanket underneath a shade tree and squealed awhile. :) She also pulled up quite a few hand fulls of clover. She had a blast. THEN of course we got some pictures of Kain and Briley together. Their first pictures together. Sadly 16 week old Briley looks like she could eat 1 week old Kain. ;) We’re not worried though. Kain is going to catch up and be buff. ;)

Compare the sizes of their legs in the image on the right. HAHAHA.

I don’t know what this face is, but B loved this one and wanted to make sure I posted it! One day THESE are the types of pictures I will be submitting for her senior yearbook or slideshow. ;)
