So I said I would try to post pictures once the house was finished. Briley’s room is the only room so far that I’m finished with so I’ll just post rooms as I finish them. For now, here is Miss B’s room. :) It was so surreal to see the room I had envisioned for so long FINALLY a reality. The only thing that her room really lacks right now is I want to put a collage of canvas wraps above her dresser and the glider will be tossed as soon as I find the EXACT fabric I’ve been searching for to upholster the arm chair I have for her room. :)

A friend of mine made this AMAZING guitar for Briley when she was born. It’s covered in glitter and rhinestones and pink and vintage cowgirls. It even has a a tiara on it. I want to hang it on the wall but I haven’t figured out just HOW to do that yet.

Briley’s Hello Kitty lamp actually belongs in the playroom but her weenie dog night light needs the bulb replaced and I keep forgetting to buy a bulb.

Paint is Hep Green from Sherwin Williams (I asked the painters to stripe with 2 different types of the paint color.) 99% of the stuffed animals came from Paris Baby Both pink rugs I bought on Amazon.com Her bedding was a special order from Paris Baby The Briley letters came from an antique store The window above the changing table came from Canton

Yes, I’m still alive. I’m actually sitting in the new house as we speak. It’s after midnight and we just sat down from a VERY long day. We decided to spend our first night here tonight. Still a few projects being wrapped up.. but we are almost there. I’m not completely back up and running just yet. I’ve got the laptop out but everything else is boxed up until construction in the studio is finished. In the meantime I’m slowly trying to return all emails so bare with me. :)

Thank you so much to everyone for all of the sweet comments and messages about the house. I’ll try to answer a few of the questions I saw.. sorry if I left anything out.. I’m doing this from memory.. so if I missed yours, just shoot me an email.

The downstairs floor is stained concrete. The stain is called “Cola” and was purchased from C&C Rental in Paris. Our painters (John Simmons) did the staining. I don’t know much about the process of stained concrete but we LOVE them. I’ve known I’ve wanted them for years. They did an amazing job on them too. They are perfect.

The pot wrack/light above the island in the kitchen was purchased from Lowes.

The backsplash in the kitchen is old metal ceiling tiles purchased from an Antique store. The painters are putting a clear coat so the rust won’t flake off.

The cabinet’s were built by Lunar Woodworks in Reno.

Jason Moore is our contractor and did a lot of the building as well. He is awesome!!

YES! I will try to get some pictures once we are completely unpacked. :) We’ve been working like crazy so I’m really hoping that won’t take TOO long. It’s so exciting to see each room.. that I’ve had pictured in my mind for SO long finally come together exactly like I had imagined.

I did manage to sneak my desktop out and finished off a few sessions so I hope to have several new blog posts up soon! Hope everyone has an awesome Thanksgiving and gets to spend LOTS of time with your families.. AND if you are daring to venture out on Black Friday.. beee careful!!! I think I’ll stick to doing my black friday shopping online!!! ;)

Moving day!! We will be moving everything to the new office this week. I’ll be without internet for a few days. I will try to reply as much as I can to emails through my phone.. but I won’t be completely back up and running until the end of the week. This also means I’ll miss a few days of processing weddings/sessions while we try to get everything moved. I’ve been working like crazy to get caught up.. so hopefully it won’t set me back too far… but in the long run it will be SO worth it. Haven’t posted any pictures of it on the blog in awhile.. it’s changed a LOT since last time. Still a few things left to finish… master bath shower and the upstairs wood floor… but I figured I better grab some pictures while I had a chance to.
