Hi, I'm Tara! I'm a wedding and portrait photographer based in Paris, Texas. I love bright colors, a vintage, eclectic feel and whimsical ideas. My passions are weddings and child photography. My favorite color is green, my favorite movie is "The Man in the Moon," I'm NOT a morning person, I've been happily married for 6 years with a beautiful 1 year old little girl and I love to blog!!

A couple of weeks ago I met up with Paige and Colt for their engagement session. Paige and Colt enjoy spending time together outdoors.. fishing, riding 4-wheelers, camping.. so Paige, Jessica and I collaborated together on Paige and Colt’s camp site engagement session. I cannot rave enough about Jessica and her creativity. She and her mom did an UNBELIEVABLE job putting everything together and it came out greater than I even imagined. I had a vision in my mind and they completely surpassed what I was hoping for.
This is such a sweet little couple. They have been together for several years and were childhood sweethearts. They actually grew up down the road from one another– their parent’s land share a fence. They became best friends as soon as they met.. and fell in love as soon as they began dating. Before Paige’s grandmother passed away she actually said joked that Paige had just “jumped the barbwire fence..” so we too the 2nd part of those engagement pictures by that barbwire fence. ;)
I absolutely LOVED everything about this session… from talking to Paige and Jess about the details, working with Paige and Colt and of course their incredibly fun session. Huge thanks to Tiff P (Smokin Hot Makeup) and the amazing job she did on Paige’s hair and makeup as well, and of course again to Jess and Denise and the amazing job they did on the session. I’ve been so excited for this engagement session! This is THE sweetest little couple ever. I went to school with both Reagan and Jordon and they’ve been together since high school. Reagan grew up across the street from me and it’s so hard for me to believe she’s even graduated high school and in college, much less engaged and getting married in the Spring! I cannot wait for their wedding. I love when clients are SUPER excited about the pictures.. so much so that they have ever aspect of planning centered around the pictures.. and I think Jordon might be just as excited about the wedding and the pictures as Reagan and I are! ;) This is going to be an amazing wedding and they are going to be an unbelievable little married couple. But for now.. just the engagement session. :) Reagan and Jordon… thanks for being so awesome!! I couldn’t get these blogged fast enough. ;)
