Hard to believe that another year and come and gone. 2011 has been a tremendous year for Tara Swain Photography. I want to thank all of my amazing clients as well as my family and friends for all of your love and support over the past few years. January will mark my 4th year in business, and with each year proving to be even greater than the last, I can’t wait to see what 2012 has in store. With so many fabulous things already on the calendar, I’m honored to be able to meet and work with each and every one of all of my wonderful clients. I have several new projects I’m going to be working on this coming year.. and I hope to announce of few of them in the next few months. I can’t WAIT to share.. and look forward to working with all of my return clients as well as tons of new faces this year. I absolutely love having the opportunity to meet so many new people each year.. but the one thing that makes my heart smile more than anything, are those clients who have been with me from the start. Each year I’m forming bonds with so many wonderful clients who quickly turn to family. We love you guys.

I’ve been receiving a lot of inquires about another group workshop. I’m considering one in the fall but so far no plans have been made for another one just yet. BUT I’ve decided to offer a Christmas sale on the one-on-one mentoring workshops!

1 full day jam-packed with one-on-one Q & A and hands on training. We’ll be covering branding, marketing your name, your business and your art, workflow, styling shoots, how I work with my clients, the in’s and out’s of business, finding the best natural light in different scenarios, shooting, post processing and everything in between. Come with a notepad full of questions!

If booked by 11:59pm on Dec 31st..

1 person: $1600 $1300 (A $300 savings)

2 people: $1400 $1200 per person (A $200 savings per person)

3 people: $1200 $1100 per person (A $100 savings per person)

The mentoring date would need to take place sometime in 2012. The date does not have to be set but the deposit is required by Dec 31st to receive the discounted price. Inquire via email for additional info or to take advantage of the Christmas sale!

While this workshop is for professional photographers, I do still have 4 spots left in the 1 day camera class aimed toward photographers and hobbyists:

A 1 day workshop covering basic camera knowledge, how to shoot in manual mode on your camera and some basic post processing. This workshop is aimed toward hobbyists or those of you just looking to take better pictures with your DSLR cameras. We won’t be covering anything business related or answering any business or professional photography related questions like the other 2 day workshop. We will also have a couple of different shooting opportunities to practice what you’ve learned.

Workshop Tuition: $800
Date: Monday, February 13th
Location: Paris, Texas

A non-refundable retainer of $200 will be due now to reserve the spot and the remaining $600 will be due 30 days prior to the class. Spots are first come, first serve so please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to reserve a spot. Lunch is included in class tuition.
