Hope everyone had an awesome Christmas! Now it’s time to get back to work and start getting caught back up on all that work that piled up while you were partying with your family. :)

Sometimes you can get so caught up in everything that’s going on around you that the days just flash by… so you have to remind yourself to slow down and enjoy the simple things. My new years resolution for 2009 is going to be just that; to stop getting so wrapped up in work that I can’t enjoy the moment. Just slow down, and really take in everything and get back to doing the things that really make me happy. I can not wait to see what 2009 brings.

While editing some images from a session today I came across this image and I can’t help but smile everytime that I look at it. I dare you to look into this pretty boy’s eyes and not smile yourself. :)

Meet Laura and Doug. Their getting married in May! I went to Fort Worth for their e-session and they got to show me around. It was a blast! We went several different places around downtown and almost all of them has some history to it and to who they are as a couple! There is some type of story behind almost everyone of the pictures we took. :) Laura and Doug- thanks for showing me around! I enjoyed meeting you both and can’t wait until your wedding!

Doug is an avid golfer so we started out at the golf course near his home!

I was THRILLED when they told me you could actually go DOWN there!! I cannot describe to you how LOUD it was.

THIS is the elevator where they first met!!! Laura was walking to the elevator and she could hear someone coming up behind her. It was Doug but she didn’t know him at the time. When she got into the elevator instead of  holding the doors open for Doug she let them shut and he had to wait for the elevator to come back up!!! HAHAHA.. But it all seriousness… I really don’t blame her. I would have probably done the very same thing. ;)

Later… AFTER what I like to call “the elevator incident” a friend introduced them and they hit it off right away.. despite their first encounter. hehehe :)

I just love little hidden alleys. You never know what you might find. :)

I also have an obsession with neon signs since we went to Vegas! :)

It’s been a year already since I last took my parents pictures so we needed to get some updated shots for Christmas! This is not an easy task; when it comes to pictures, my dad is like a 2 year old. You have to constantly remind him to, smile, stop making faces, look at me, spit out the candy, put that stick down, stop doing that, look over here, don’t do that… and the list goes on! Not to mention that it was FREEZING cold and the wind was horrible… but we got em and here are a couple of them. :) Leave them some blog love!!!
